About Me
Hi, I'm Daniel Gratz. I am currently a Computer Science Major at The Ohio State University (OSU) with a minor in Honors Mathematics. The mathematics coursework I took at OSU focused on problem solving and conceptual/ proof based understanding of basic mathematics. In my Computer Science coursework I elected to take classes which focus on computer systems, programming languages and data analysis. I want to use those skills to work on the modeling of complex systems such as excitable cells or economic markets. Currently I work in a lab which studies heart arrhythmia through electropysiological modeling of heart cells. In the future I would like to work on modeling markets with a focus on sustainable markets.
Intrests
In my free time I enjoy partner dancing, playing piano and guitar. I also enjoy reading classic literature in German and English, poetry and writings on depth psychology, global development, sustainable economics and steady-state economics.
